About Latresa's Haven
Latresa's Haven Independent Living is developing a Sacramento-based independent living community focused on providing safe, stable, and dignified housing for veterans and older adults experiencing housing instability. Our goal is to provide supportive services to help residents transition to independence and build fulfilling lives.
We believe that veterans who have served our country and older adults deserve a place to call home—a place that restores dignity, provides stability, and supports the journey toward independence. We are prepared to create a welcoming environment where residents can heal, thrive, and rebuild their lives with community and purpose.
Our residential home is still in development and has not yet opened. Until the home is secured, we're building partnerships, planning services, and connecting with veterans, older adults, and community partners who share our vision. Who We Serve
Latresa's Haven is being developed to provide safe, stable and dignified independent living for veterans and older adults experiencing homelessness or housing instability in the Sacramento community.
Veterans
Veterans experiencing homelessness or housing instability who are seeking safe, stable and dignified independent living.
Older Adults
Older adults experiencing housing instability who are able to live independently and are seeking a safe, stable place to call home.
Stable Income
Prospective residents should have a reliable source of income, which may include SSI, SSDI, VA benefits, disability income, retirement income, or other qualifying income.
Independent Living
Latresa's Haven is intended for individuals who are able to live independently. We are not an assisted living facility, skilled nursing facility, or medical care facility.

We envision a warm, welcoming independent living community where veterans and older adults experiencing housing instability can find stability, dignity, connection, and a place to call home.
